QA/QC Engineer

Responsibilities

- Implementing Aramco Standards: Ensure all work complies with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Procedures (SAEP), and Material System Specifications (SAMSS).
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections and witness tests as per SATIP (Saudi Aramco Typical Inspection Plan) and SAIC (Saudi Aramco Inspection Checklist).
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, including weekly summaries of activities, issues, and submitted documents.
- Material Verification: Perform receiving inspections, verify Certified Material Test Reports (CMTRs), and ensure materials meet project specifications.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and follow up on non-conforming items using NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and CAR (Corrective Action Requests) procedures.
- Coordination: Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, and Aramco inspectors to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Final Documentation: Compile final acceptance documentation and quality records for project handover.

Qualifications for  QC Engineer (Aramco Projects)

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with Aramco standards like SAES, SAEP, SAIC, and SAMSS is often required.
- Aramco approval as a QC Engineer  CBT advantageous.
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System knowledge is a big plus.

  Skills

- Strong understanding of inspection procedures, welding, piping, and NDT techniques.
- Ability to prepare QA/QC (PQP) documents and review ITPs, QCPs, and inspection reports.

Entry Requirements vary by course, but generally:
- Grade 2: No prior experience required.
- Grade 1: Requires prior certification or relevant experience.
- Site Coatings Inspector: Prior painting/coating inspection experience is recommended.
